EVO Logistiek (EVO Logistics) has interviewed one of the clients of Laevo, GEODIS LOGISTICS. EVO was curious about the proof of concept of the Laevo exoskeleton and has asked us if they could interview some of our clients. GEODIS was very happy to tell EVO about their experience regarding the use of the Laevo.
One third of the workforce has to deal with heavy lifting, lots of bending and moving objects in a stooped posture, which burdens the back and shoulders. Chances on work related back pains are recorded in risk assessments of warehouses, but universal, ideal tools do not exist and automation is still out of reach. Currently ‘external skeletons’ are introduced as a tools to prevent work related back pains, such as the laevo.
