Who are we?

Laevo develops exoskeletons designed to prevent back injuries. The exoskeleton can be seen as a suit that supports the user in bent postures so that the stress on the lower back is decreased. Within Laevo, we work in a small (approx. 8 persons), young (average age: 35 years) multidisciplinary team.

What are your tasks?

As a non-graduating intern, your tasks will be diverse in nature and based on the current needs of the R&D team. Common practice is to have one primary assignment focused on a specific design element of the Laevo exoskeleton. Apart from your main design work, you will be asked to assist the R&D in various activities such as testing, prototype assembly, and so on. You will be in charge of servicing our “fleet” of lease-model Laevo exoskeletons.

What do we offer?

We offer you an internship in a multidisciplinary team. You will work in a stimulating and flexible environment. You will be supported closely throughout the complete internship, by fellow interns and your supervisors. Furthermore, you will receive a net internship compensation of €250 per month, inclusive of travel expenses.

Who are you?

A serious, motivated HBO or University intern with a technical education and a technical inclination. You like to be practical and implement and test new developments quickly. We expect you to be able to work independently, to be analytical, and to have good oral and written skills in both Dutch and English.
